The Amlarem ICDS Project
Being an area predominantly inhabited by the Tribal was established during the year 1990 December. The project is covering 74 Nos. Anganwadi centers with a total population as follows (as per CDPOs MPR, 2009).

- Female - 19736 Nos
- Pregnant mothers - 514 Nos
- Nursing mothers - 581 Nos
- Children population
- 6month to 1year - 615 (M&F)
- 1 - 3 years - 1927 (M&F)
- 3 - 6 years - 3071 (M&F)
The total number of target beneficiaries covered under supplementary Nutrition Programme is :-
- Pregnant & Nursing mothers - 1054 Nos
- Malnourished children (6mnths - 3Yrs) - 2552 Nos
- Malnourished children (3 - 6Yrs) - 3078 Nos
- Severely Malnourished children (0 - 6) - Nos
- Adolescent Girls - 288 Nos
Objective: Delivery of a package of basic services under ICDS programme to children under 6 of age, pregnant women and nursing mothers right in their own villages or location those includes.

- Referral Services
- Nutrition and Health Education
- Non formal pre-school education
- Convergence of services with other allied Department in the project area.
